Barfry 3rd October 2008I'm having a little crisis of confidence of late and as such my motivation has suffered. This is why there has only been one Odd-Fish strip for the last two weeks. It's not really a writer's block as such, but has more to do with me losing confidence in what I'm writing. I'm not sure that I'm still happy with just doing one-hit gags and bad puns and I'd like to build my characters a little more, build the world they live in and make the strip generally...well... funnier The trouble is, I'm not sure I'm up to it. I'm an artist, not a writer and I find writing very very hard indeed. This is what I mean by crisis of confidence. Don't worry though, until I decide what direction to take Odd-Fish in, I shall continue to produce strips based on silliness, bad puns and old jokes. Just the way that (some of you) like it.
