Lush 16th September 2008Dave the bartending crab puts in a rare appearance today for Odd-Fish number ninety-five but this time there's no sign of Dave's regular customer, Cockle. Instead Lovecraft is propping up the bar getting thoroughly drunk. Is he in mourning for OCTOBOT? Perhaps he's been unlucky in love or may be he's just a miserable git. Who knows what goes through the mind of an octopus on bourbon?A big thank you to those lovely people who sent me a little something towards the cost of Ziggy's cancer diagnosis and treatment. There's still a long way to go but every little helps ensure that Ziggy is as comfortable as possible and stays that way though this difficult and stressful (for me as well as him!) time We've not yet has the results back from his biopsy so we're still waiting with everything crossed in the hope that it turns out to be something benign after all. Do we dare to hope? Well we've got to, because the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.
