Inexplicable Zebras IX

Oh dear, Howard’s in some deep doo-doo now. Game over man. Game over!
As many of you have noticed, this Odd-fish storyline borrows heavily from the movie Aliens, an all time classic and possibly (opinion alert!) the best action Sci-Fi movie ever made. I prefer not to think of this arc as a rip off or copy of Aliens, but more of a homage or tribute.
I’ve also had emails asking what the coconuts have to do with zebras. Well if you read this strip followed by this one, you will see that zebras hatch from coconuts.
But then I’m asked, ‘If the Queen lays the coconuts, how do the coconuts get into the trees?’ and I answer that by sticking my fingers in my ears and singing ‘lalalala I can’t hear you lalalala’
The life cycle and possibly even the evolution of the tiny zebras is a subject that will be explained in exclusive content that will be found only in the Odd-Fish book when it’s available later this year. Betcha can’t wait!
