Now we know who’s been behind Howard’s kidnap and who controls the zebras and their actions. But why has the Queen Zebra skulking in her nest at the centre of the zebra hive while she lays her coconut eggs by the hundreds, summoned Howard? Keep reading! This is arguably the most elaborate panel I’ve done for Odd-Fish to date and was great fun to draw. I’ve always loved drawing monsters and I particularly enjoyed the task of keeping this one recognisably zebra-esque but at the same time infusing it with elements of a simplified interpretation Giger’s fantastic Alien stylingsI guess this is as good a time as any to mention that prints of most of the strips to date are now available to order. They start from £9.99 (a little more for the bigger strips) with free worldwide shipping and are printed on A4 glossy 180gsm paper and hand signed. They include the dialogue balloons by default but can be produced ‘artwork only’ if you prefer, just add a note to the order when you make it.
