Inexplicable Zebras V 1st August 2008Click here to read this story from the start.A switch of viewpoint for today’s thrilling instalment of Odd-Fish and we get to see what happened to Howard after the Zebras carried him off. He seems to have been immobilised by some kind of secreted resin. (But secreted from what?) and placed in a chamber with hundreds of coconuts. If the coconuts are Zebra eggs, who's laying the eggs? (Is it just me or is this a little familiar?)Some sad news now. My pet pufferfish, Martha, upon whom Howard is based sadly died on Wednesday morning. We think it was old age because we'd had her for years and she was certainly full grown at 15inches. We have no way of knowing what the expected lifespan of Fahaka puffers actually is because there's very little known about freshwater pufferfish. I miss her.
