Ghosts XVII 8th July 2010Click here to read this story from the start. It’s alive! Finally, after many months of unofficial hiatus, here’s the last page of Odd-Fish: Ghosts. To be honest I had planned for it to be a lot longer with a convoluted and complex plot but I just don’t have the time. Better to go back to one-shot gags and horrible jokes for now until my life gets back into some semblance of normality...say, eighteen or so years from now.The last few months has been a hectic time to say the least. We’ve sold our house in the ‘city’ and moved to a lovely place in the English countryside but mostly it’s been MrsNobody’s pregnancy and the birth of our son, Zachary at the end of June. Zachary was born at 5:32pm on the 24th of June. He weighed 6lb 10½oz (3kg) and is doing very well.MrsNobody and I are enjoying the experience of endless sleepless nights, the delights of frequent nappy changes and the joy of constant demand for feeds. (Please note: the previous paragraph may contain traces of sarcasm.) When does this parenthood thing become fun? Can it be soon please? Seriously though, I wouldn’t trade our son in for anything, not even a Cintiq. We love him to bits and I’m sure that once he stops being nothing but a screaming tube that you put stuff in at one end then clean up what squirts out of the other, he’ll be well worth the effort.
