Since I drew this at the end of December I’ve seen this joke in various forms repeated all over the interwebs. I was a little worried that it might not work because it had already been done to death elsewhere.
Mind you, when has Odd-Fish ever been afraid of old jokes?
Talking of new year resolutions, here are my list of projects to be continued, completed or started in 2012:
(In no particular order)
- Continue Odd-Fish with at least once-a-week updates.
- Finish (non-Odd-Fish) childrens’ book started in 2007 & hawk it around publishers.
- Re-think, redesign & complete Odd-Fish plushies (Lovecraft, Howard & a zebra).
- Compile Odd-Fish book II: Zombie Zebras from Beyond the Grave. (Title subject to change)
- Completely overhaul and resurrect Biro-art.com.
- Start drawing new oddities for Biro-art.
- Re-draw classic Biro-Art ‘From Heaven to Hell‘ from scratch. (A seriously big project)
- Draw & compile Odd-Fish 2013 calendar by July 2012.
- Create proper folio of work.
- Seek gainful employment based on the aforesaid folio.
I Will add more when I think of them.
The Biro-art redesign is well underway, I’m in the process of moving everything from my old, hand-coded tables-based site to my shiny new heavily customised WordPress layout. I think it looks great!

Badum-tish! XD!!
Slow clap…Well played.
This looks shopped – I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.
@Leak – I really hope you’re joking…
I’m just glad to have ye back. Cheers!
@NobbyNobody: I’m always waaay too serious to be joking – ever.
np: David Lynch – I Know (Crazy Clown Time)
I’ve noticed that your prints are (mostly) ‘sold out’… Can’t you reissue them? Many are intriguing and ALL are making me WANT.
Just a suggestion, money being the goal
I’ve had my own last two years of hell, I’m very sympathetic with your situation… I don’t have a young one to enjoy though, so you’re one upon me. Good luck to you and your family for this new year!
