It got a bit close for comfort this time. It was Saturday morning before I came up with the joke for today’s Odd-Fish and almost 11pm by the time I’d finished all the artwork, scanning and dialogue. Phew! So I’ve still not missed an update since reviving Odd-Fish. This has got to be the longest I’ve kept a new years resolution ever!
With regard to my other goals for the year, I’m well on the way to reviving, revamping and relaunching Odd-Fish’s parent site, Biro-art. I’ve been slaving away in WordPress converting all the images to suitable sizes, tidying them up and customising the WordPress template. I think it’s looking good. Hopefully it won’t be too long before it’s live.
Then the plan is to use it as kind of an online portfolio and pimp myself to whoever will listen. I need to make a living out of this. I’ve been doing crappy retail and customer service jobs for too long, it’s time to do what I want to do and make a career for my self. Yeah.
